## Before You Start

## Connect OMNIO Local Channel

1. **Go to Integrations**
In OmniOrders, click **Integrations** in the main menu.
2. **Find OMNIO Local Channel**
Look for **OMNIO** or **OMNIO Local Channel** in the list (under E-commerce Platforms or Communication & Utilities).
3. **Enable the Channel**
Click **Connect** or **Enable**. No external credentials are needed—it's a built-in channel.
4. **Configure (Optional)**
If settings are available, choose:
- Default fulfillment location for local orders
- Order numbering prefix (e.g., `LOC-`)
- Any automation rules that apply to this channel
5. **Start Creating Orders**
Go to **Orders** → **New Order** and select **OMNIO** or **Local Channel** as the channel. Or use CSV import to bulk add orders.

## What Gets Synced?
**OMNIO Local Channel focuses on orders. Products and inventory live in OmniOrders—you create or import orders that reference your existing catalog. Fulfillment updates (tracking, status) are stored in OmniOrders and can be used for reporting.**

- Payment status (manual entry)

### Products & Inventory
- Orders pull from your OmniOrders product catalog
- Inventory deducts when orders are fulfilled (same as other channels)
- No product sync—you manage products in OmniOrders

- Tracking numbers (entered manually or via carrier integration)

- Return tracking (if applicable)

## Managing Your Connection
### View Local Channel Orders
1. Go to **Orders** in the main menu
2. Filter by **Channel** → **OMNIO** or **Local Channel**
3. View, edit, and fulfill orders like any other channel
### Create Orders Manually
1. Click **Orders** → **New Order**
2. Set **Channel** to **OMNIO** or **Local Channel**
3. Add line items, customer info, and shipping
4. Save and process as usual
### Import Orders (CSV)
1. Go to **Orders** or **Upload CSV** (if available)
2. Use the CSV template for order import
3. Map columns to OmniOrders fields
4. Set channel to OMNIO Local for imported rows

## Troubleshooting
### Orders Not Appearing Under OMNIO Channel
**Problem**: Orders show a different channel or no channel.
**Solutions**:
- When creating orders, explicitly select **OMNIO** or **Local Channel** in the Channel field
- For CSV imports, ensure the channel column maps to OMNIO Local
- Check that the integration is enabled under **Integrations**
### Automation Rules Not Applying
**Problem**: Rules don't run for local channel orders.
**Solutions**:
- Edit the rule and add **OMNIO Local Channel** (or equivalent) to the channel filter
- Verify the rule is active and conditions match your orders
- Check rule order—earlier rules may take precedence
### Can't Find OMNIO in Integrations
**Problem**: OMNIO Local Channel doesn't appear in the list.
**Solutions**:
- Refresh the Integrations page
- Contact support—availability may vary by plan
- Look for "Local Channel" or "OMNIO" under E-commerce Platforms
